Terms of Service
Last updated: June 11, 2026
In short: LeaseMate gives you educational information and tools to understand and negotiate a car lease. It is not legal, tax, or financial advice, and it is not a broker or dealer. You make every decision, talk to dealers yourself, and sign your own deal. Access is a one-time pass after a free first audit.
1. What LeaseMate is — and isn’t
LeaseMate is a buyer-side tool that helps you read lease quotes, compute their real cost, flag likely markups, and draft messages you can send to dealers. LeaseMate provides educational information only. It is not legal, tax, or financial advice, and LeaseMate is not a broker, dealer, lender, lawyer, or tax advisor. You should confirm important details — including your local tax rate and any figures — and seek a qualified professional for advice specific to your situation.
2. You run your own deal
LeaseMate never contacts dealers, lenders, or anyone else; never handles your deal or dealer money; and never signs anything on your behalf. It prepares; you execute. Every decision, every message you choose to send, and every signature is yours.
3. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your password secure, and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
4. The free audit and the pass
Your first quote audit is free. Full access is a one-time pass (a founder price) that grants unlimited quote audits for 30 days from first use. Payment is processed by Stripe; prices are shown at checkout and may change for future purchases. Because the pass is digital and used immediately, it is generally non-refundable except where required by law or at our discretion — contact us if something went wrong.
5. Acceptable use
- Don’t misuse, overload, probe, or try to disrupt the service or its security.
- Don’t use LeaseMate to break the law or to submit someone else’s data without their permission.
- Don’t resell, scrape, or attempt to extract the underlying models or systems.
We may apply rate limits and usage caps to protect the service, and we may suspend accounts that abuse it.
6. Messages and notifications
LeaseMate contacts you by email about your lease and your account (for example, sign-in and password-reset messages and receipts). See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
7. No guarantee of outcomes
LeaseMate’s figures come from a deterministic calculation engine and the information you provide. We work hard to make them accurate, but we cannot guarantee any particular savings, dealer response, or result, and market facts may change. Always verify numbers before you rely on them.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LeaseMate and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Changes and termination
We may update the service and these terms from time to time; we will revise the date above when we do, and continued use means you accept the changes. You may stop using LeaseMate at any time, and we may suspend or end access if these terms are violated.
